1. How to Register on VENT.
In this article, we are going to explain in detail how to register on the VENT.
- To register on the VENT you will have to go to https://vent.finance and click on “Get Started”. This will bring you to the registration page of VENT.
2. Once on the registration page you will have to input your email and the password you want to use. You will also have to confirm your password (ie. re-writing the same password).
3. When you enter your password, it will be evaluated on how strong the password is. The more yellow lines are filled, the harder the password is to compromise. Furthermore, if you hover over the “i” icon next to the word “Password”, you will be told the minimum requirements for your password. In this case those are:
- “Minimum 8 characters”
- “At least 1 uppercase”
- “At least 1 number”
Once you have chosen an appropriate password and inputted your email, click on “Next” to advance. This will take you to the next step in the registration process.
4. This is the next step in the registration process. You will have to write your Vent username, your first name and your last name. Lastly, you will need to click on the little square next to “I Certify that I am 18 years of age or older, and agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy” if you’re older than 18 and have read the User Agreement and Privacy Policy. You will not be able to proceed otherwise
Once this is done. Click on the “Next” button to advance to the next step in the registration process.
6. You will then be taken to this page, where you will need to complete the CAPTCHA to prove that you are human. In order to do this, you must click on the small square that is indicated by a blue arrow below. Once a tick appears there, you can click on the “Next” button to advance to the next step in the registration process.
7. Once you have completed the CAPTCHA you will be taken to this page. You will need to check your email for an email from us including a 6-digit code. Input this code into this page before the code expires. Once that is done correctly you will be able to click on the “Next” button and will have finished the registration process.
